My aunt had to visit her friend whose husband had just expired. Due to this news, my aunt had to alter her plans and visit her friend Maria. I decided to stay in a hotel for the last two days of my London trip. I came across the 27 Paddington Hotel in one of the travel blogs.
I Checked In
I checked into the hotel in the evening. I had seen pretty modest reviews about the hotel but was still not sure whether it would be up to the mark. The hotel is located close to the Paddington station. The room appeared moderate yet clean and with all essential facilities.
I unpacked and freshened up. Apart from the air conditioning and private bath, they even provided free dryer and iron. The room even had free wi-fi connectivity.
The decor of the room was contemporary. There was a portrait at the backside of my bed. I found it pretty artistic. It gave the room an informal feel.
I was thoroughly disappointed with the breakfast served there. They just served croissants and boiled eggs with a beverage. I wondered whether I was having great expectations because I am accustomed to filling meals. Later I found out from the various forums that there were many others who shared the same opinion on the breakfast served.
I checked out next day by around noon. Before that I ventured about to check out the different shopping avenues in the vicinity. I even clicked a few good pictures there.
I think the hotel is an affordable option if you are new to the place. They have all the necessary amenities. The closeness to the Paddington Station is what attracts many tourists to this place.
