The next day and another morning I set off to see Southern Nevada Zoological Botanical Park Las Vegas. The previous day I had a good time at the museum. The drive to the place was only a 20 minutes trip and reaching the place was very easy. I had heard a lot about the place beforehand as it was mainly established to make the general people aware of the animals and plants that are readily found in the desert place. Most importantly it is a non-profit system with all the money being accumulated from the sale of tickets and by various other means to go for the development of the place and the welfare of the animals placed there.
When I reached the park, I saw it was a secret world made up for wildlife. I decided to buy a ticket and visit the place so as to get a look at the natural treasure it houses inside. I mentioned the wildlife as the treasure because their presence is what makes the planet complete. With them getting extinct and rare to find day by day, these zoological parks do a lot to help the last bit of species to stay alive and prevent them from getting extinct. The animals were a treat to watch as the place had many large cats like the lion and also apes like chimpanzees, which were busy in their personal work and didn’t bother about the crowd who was observing them.
The place also had many species of birds, which had been given enough space in their respective places to flap their wings and live an easy life. Birds like Ostrich and Emu were the ones, which stole my attention as I saw them in front of my eyes for the first time in my life. Otherwise many reptiles were also present, which were native to the desert place and looked dangerous. The park also had many species of various types of flora and it was a good treat to the brain to know more about them from the place. With this, my time at Southern Nevada Zoological Botanical Park Las Vegas was well spent and as per plans I had to move ahead in the journey to Adventuredome Las Vegas.
